Brochures Simplify Fundraising Process

ATLANTA – Two new brochures from the Association of Fund-Raising Distributors and Suppliers are helping schools and non-profit groups conduct more efficient and profitable fundraisers – and making it easier for those groups to select a reputable, reliable fundraising company.

The Fundraising Report Card is a tool for evaluating fundraising companies.  It contains a list of criteria (i.e, product quality, number of years company has been in the fundraising business, order form tallying, etc.) schools and non-profits should be using to grade each company.  Once completed, the Fundraising Report Card is an easy to read scorecard and makes picking a fundraising company much easier.

The Fundraising Handbook is filled with information for schools and non-profits that can guide them to a successful fundraiser.  The handbook explains the importance of hiring a well-qualified fundraising company, and provides tips for setting financial goals, choosing the best program, selecting the right products, and taking care of volunteers, among other things. 

Prior to publication, the AFRDS Fundraising Handbook and Report Card were reviewed by the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Catholic Educational Association and the National PTA.
